The Henry Ford

This past Christmas we received a membership to The Henry Ford from the Schommer fam. What a wonderful gift to receive. We have been able to walk with friends during the week, take pre-nap quick trips on the weekends and enjoy all Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village has to offer. Who knew after all those years working in there I would enjoy spending casual time there with my family. Lucas of course has a one track mind and if we say village he says carousel! Every trip to the village means a spin around the 1913 Herschell-Spillman Carousel! We have been enjoying The Henry Ford all summer but we have never once taken a camera with us!! Can you believe it! So, today we popped over to the village camera in hand - our batteries died - we bought $8 batteries there (what were we thinking?) - Lucas began to spin out of control from exhaustion - we snapped a couple pictures and went home! Thank goodness we live so close. So enjoy the pictures - and know we worked really hard for these.
