Tawas

This past weekend we were able to spend 2 days in Tawas! We took the 3 hour drive early on Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. It was a quick trip, but just enough time for Lucas to have a GREAT weekend. He spent time playing with his aunts and uncles, walking and getting walked by Toby the puppy and recreating treason on the high seas with foam swords. He took the kayak for a spin, on dry land of course and played with all the left over wiggly fishing worms. We walked the beach and checked out all the fancy boats at the pier. And because Lucas is such a ladies man he got a free Doctor Suess book from the local antique store. Lucas was not the only one who enjoyed Tawas to the fullest... we took Uncle David up with us and he raved about what a great time he had - it only really took a roaring bonfire and a cocktail. Who knew he was such a cheap date! All in all we had a great time and can't wait to get away again soon. Enjoy these few pictures we snapped while we we there!
