Already June

Hi friends and family -
Well it is already June and we have not written in quite some time. Lucas is in hi 18th month and going strong!! It is amazing to see this little guy grow into his BIG personality. He is loving life and so are we.
To date we have a TON of teeth and it seems like more are popping out every day.

Lucas has learned so much in these past few months - and is trying to communicate more and more by talking and in his own special ways (sometimes not so special). He has even created new words for selected items (even words that he said correctly - now are something totally different). He can say up, down, moon, doggy, baby, wow, apple, mommy, daddy, banana, balloon (although it sounds nothing like the sort more like mannanna - which can be easily confused with banana). We even think he took a stab at saying Garrett today - following grandma's lead by actually yelling "garrrreettttttttt"!!

And of course he has sounds down.... Cow: moooo, Horse: Neeeeeehhh, doggy: wooo wooo, cat: mowww mowww and any bird says: caw caw... Darn crows!

All in all he is doing GREAT! It is hard to even say what is new, because almost every day is a brand new adventure and full of unexpected surprises. I think now more than ever it is important to write some of these things down since they are becoming more humorous and Lucas becomes much more a little boy each and every moment.

Well, we will have to touch base later - and hopefully we can update you with some pics. It is getting harder and harder to take good pictures since he is now ALWAYS on the move! So much for sitting down, cooking, cleaning and just about anything that does not directly include him.
