Our Very First Entry

Hi Friends and Family, This is the very first entry we are making! How very exciting. Well, Lucas was born almost 12 weeks ago at the large size of 9lbs on the dot...At his 2 month checkup he was tipping the scales at 13lbs and is in the 95th percentile for his weight and height.

This little guy is such a joy! More than we could have ever hoped for and every day is a new adventure. We just recently figured out how to put him to bed. Go figure needing to "figure out" how to get someone to snooze. But we now have him sleeping through most of the night.

Lucas is getting so strong, holding is head up on his own, still a little unsteady but holding it up all the same. He enjoys time on his play mat looking up at his singing sun...cooing and laughing! One of our favorite things to do is change diapers! No seriously.. Lucas loves it, he smiles and laughs as soon as I set him down on his changing table. He loves having his tummy and toes tickled...this makes for a long diaper changing..but it is worth it! Even bedtime is fun! Once he is out he must have some amazing dreams since you will find him most nights giggling out loud, yet never waking.
